VIDEO-Larry Levich Wins Weigand Top Residential Agent Award for 2nd Year in a Row

A couple of years a ago, Larry invited THINK-TANK to assist him with creating a visual brand to set him apart as a real estate professional at J.P. Weigand & Sons Real Estate in Wichita, KS. This included designing a logo, a Motion Card Business Card, a new web site, collateral materials and other promotional tools.
Larry has a reputation for insisting on old-fashioned service (for instance, he doesn’t permit callers to be put into voicemail; rather mandating that he be immediately contacted for a prompt return phone call) and hard work. Apparently, this resonates with a number of home buyers and sellers considering that he has been awarded the #1 Residential Agent for the entire company for the second year in a row.
You can see Larry receiving that award in this video. Congratulations Larry!
Will the Apple iPad be an iFlop?
Posted by: | Comments
After months of speculation about the introduction of Apple’s “tablet,” the iPad was finally introduced last week with MUCH fanfare! While there has been much discussion among tech writers and analysts about what it “doesn’t” include, I think that they may have forgotten the history of the iPhone. Shortly after the iPhone launch less than 2 years ago, there was much grumbling about the limitations of the iPhone…most importantly, it’s inability to run third-party apps.
VIDEO-Voice Band iPhone App Turns “Bah Ba Ba Bah” Into Music & Gold for Developer
Posted by: | CommentsWhile the demo of this app (and probably the “market” of the app) focuses more on rock-n-roll than is my personal style, there is no doubt in my mind that the millions of rock wannabees out there will find this a MUST-HAVE at only $3 per copy. I’d be stunned if the developer didn’t make a pile of cash with it. Check out the video and see if you don’t agree.
A Real Estate Agent’s Dream-Adding Value with Great Photos from an iPhone
Posted by: | CommentsI read the other day a great quote from a photographer. The question was “What’s the best camera?” His answer? “The one you have with you.”
I work with a number of real estate agents. While they may have a large megapixel camera to shoot their listings, increasingly the value of an agent is reflected in how quickly they can get their photos to potential buyers AND how high the quality of the photos is.
Without special lighting (and most agents don’t have that), the photos often end up being either very underexposed or overexposed. However, with this under-$2 iPhone app, just about anyone can get quality photos and quickly e-mail them right to a prospective buyer. See the sample photos below and the link to the iPhone app called PRO HDR. One note: This will only work with the iPhone 3GS and the better camera that it has. Check it out!

THINK-TANK Suggestion for New Year-Get a Password Manager!
Posted by: | CommentsIf you’ve followed my posts for any time, you know that I’m a Mac fan. For years, I have used a Mac-only Password Manager called 1Password. Excellent program! However, many of my real estate clients use a PC-primarily because their MLS system has been PC-centric for years (although that is beginning to change).

Posted by: | CommentsWe all know by now what appears to be the sad truth about what has happened to Tiger Woods’ squeaky-clean reputation being severely tarnished by admitted “infidelity.” But, when you are one of the highest-paid athletes in the history of sporting AND your “brand” is not just golf but your personal identity…your looks, your smile, your charisma, your personae, your style, your business savvy, your history, your skill, your mystique, etc., then the “Marketing of Tiger Woods” is essential to the ongoing life of the “brand.”
Robert "GRIFF" Griffith is the Founder and Market Positioning Strategist at THINK-TANK. He has decades of experience with creating Marketing Strategies, Branding Concepts, Unique Visual Designs, Engaging Presentations for In-person Speaking Engagements or Online Use and Much More!
