VIDEO: The Fascinating Future of Screen Technology & Interactive Display
Posted by: | CommentsDecades ago now, I mocked up a BRAINeLINK™ device that you would wear around your neck. With a holographic display, it could open from a device the size of the new iPod Nano to reveal a 30-inch display. It would include holographic storage (now beginning to be a reality) and would merge the very small with the large display.
While this video doesn’t quite go there, it is an interesting look at what could exist in the next few years. VERY cool!! See if you don’t agree.

Posted by: | CommentsIn the previous post, I mentioned the cool-new “quirky” concept for inventors. In other posts, I’ve talked about the potential for Apple’s iPad. Well, after holding the iPad, I felt that there might be an opportunity for designing a new “walking, writing, watching” all-in-one accessory for it since it can become a bit heavy if you are standing with it for any length of time. When Holly Miller began writing her book, The Face of an Arrow, she contacted me to discuss designing the cover. As a Christian author, she had previously published Life After the Games. Her new book was an ambitious project, taking over a year to complete. In addition to the book cover design, I suggested that she utilize social networking strategies as a way to deepen her connection with readers and PROSPECTIVE readers. The first component was shooting a video about the book and launching it on a
